Wamego USD 320 Announces New Superintendent

Launch the media gallery 1 playerWamego USD 320 is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Josh Meyer as the district’s new Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2025.
Mr. Meyer brings more than 25 years of experience in public education, including over a decade of successful leadership as Superintendent of USD 350 St. John-Hudson. He is known for his commitment to academic excellence, innovative program development, and strong community partnerships. Under his leadership, his previous district earned the Kansas Commissioner’s Award with Highest Distinction in both 2023 and 2024, reflecting a consistent focus on post-secondary success and student-centered learning.
Mr. Meyer holds a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Kansas State University, a master’s degree in Educational Administration, and a district leadership endorsement from Emporia State University. His background includes a wide range of instructional and administrative experience, as well as leadership in strategic planning, facilities improvements, and community engagement.
