She holds a Specialist in Education and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Pittsburg State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Elementary Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her academic preparation supports a deep understanding of curriculum, instruction, and school improvement, which she has applied throughout her career as a teacher, instructional coach, principal, and currently as Director of Teaching and Learning for Leavenworth USD 453. Licensed in both district and building-level leadership, as well as multiple content areas, Ms. Batson combines her formal education with a passion for student achievement and professional development to lead with clarity, vision, and purpose.
