Wamego Public Schools is proud to welcome Liberty Sharpe as the district’s first student representative to the Board of Education. This new role will provide an important student perspective and help ensure that student experiences, ideas, and concerns are represented in board discussions.
Liberty is a senior at Wamego High School and is excited to serve as a voice for her fellow students.
“I am so excited to be a part of the Board of Education because I want to make sure students’ voices are heard. After graduation, I plan to attend K-State with a pre-law focus and then continue my education at KU to become a family lawyer.”
We look forward to Liberty’s contributions during this historic first year of student representation on the board.
