Teachers From Saudi Arabia Visit Wamego Middle School
October 25, 2018
AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY FOR TEACHERS TO LEARN FROM EACH OTHER! ~ This morning Wamego Middle School hosted approximately 15 teachers (elementary and secondary) from Saudi Arabia who are currently part of the Center for Intercultural and Multilingual Advocacy (CIMA) at Kansas State University. These teachers are spending this entire year, away from their homes, to learn about teaching/learning in the US. A significant part of this experience includes immersion in classrooms such as ours, observing teachers teach and students learning, and also sharing their own perspectives about education and teaching in the classroom. Thank you Lotus Hazlett, Dr. Amy Cindrity, and Travis Graber for helping to make this happen!
